Cinthia Nemoto is a strategic marketing and partnerships professional with over 20 years of experience across Latin and North America. Since 2017, she has served as a National Trustee of the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS), helping oversee the national organization and its chapters across Canada and contributing both chapter-level and national governance perspectives to conservation.

A lifelong advocate for animals, wildlife, and wild spaces, Cinthia has volunteered with Humane Societies, the Toronto Wildlife Centre, and equine rescue organizations. While living in Canmore, AB, she witnessed the aftermath of a semi-truck collision that killed seven elk on Highway 1. The experience inspired her to take action and ultimately helped secure a $17.5M government investment for Canada’s first wildlife overpass outside a national park.

She also hosts the monthly AI Safety Canada Meetup, where Canadians explore how AI can benefit humanity and collaborate to create positive change.
