Dr. John Lieberman

John Lieberman is a retired MD, holding an animal law degree. Originally from New York, he practiced medicine in Colorado for over twenty years before making a career pivot from helping humans one-by-one, to working to help animals on a more systemic level. Dr. Lieberman currently resides in Washington, DC with his collie mix Siena, whom he rescued from a local shelter while living in southern Colorado. Within animal law, John’s specific areas of interest include animals in research, food law, and puppy mills.
