Justin Goodman is Senior Vice President of Advocacy and Public Policy at White Coat Waste, a government watchdog that exposes and ends taxpayer-funded animal experimentation. For more than 20 years, he has led high-impact grassroots, investigative, media, and lobbying campaigns that have driven major policy reforms to shut down animal laboratories.


He has led efforts to pass precedent-setting bipartisan legislation at the state and federal levels cutting funding for experiments on dogs, cats, primates, and other animals. Justin has been invited to testify before the House and Senate as an expert witness, drafted and advanced landmark legislation, and directed investigations and press campaigns exposing animal experiments in the United States and abroad.


A nationally recognized subject matter expert and lobbyist, he has conducted hundreds of interviews and authored peer-reviewed research and commentary on animal testing issues. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Connecticut and previously served as an adjunct professor at Marymount University.
